How to use

Use morning or evening. Apply straight onto clean, dry skin – no need to rinse off. Start with 2–3 applications a week, building up to daily as your skin gets used to it. Follow with a body moisturiser. Apply SPF to treated areas if they'll be exposed to the sun.

Targeted use

  • Bumpy, textured skin (KP): up to twice daily to help smooth rough, bumpy patches.
  • Ingrown hairs: up to twice daily, dropping to once daily once things improve.
  • Body breakouts: up to twice daily to help unclog pores.
  • Underarm or bikini line discolouration: once daily. Leave 10–15 minutes before applying deodorant.
  • After hair removal: wait at least 8 hours before applying.
  • Dry, cracked heels: up to twice daily. Overnight, apply a thicker layer and pop on a pair of socks.

What not to do

  • Always patch test before adding any new product to your routine.
  • Avoid broken, irritated or sunburnt skin.
  • Don't layer it with other strong actives on the same area without spacing them out.
  • Use SPF on treated areas if exposed to the sun – exfoliated skin is more sensitive to UV.

Storage

  • Store somewhere cool and dry (15–25°C). Keep out of direct sunlight and away from the eyes. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.

"After 26 years in dermatology, I've sent thousands of patients home with the same answer: removal is temporary, new ones will keep coming. That was the honest limit of what clinical treatment could offer. Since I started recommending the Equalize Labs Glycolic Body Stick, I've watched patients keep on top of it in a way clinic sessions never allowed — new ones still appear, but smaller and flatter. It's the first thing I've found that tackles what seborrhoeic keratoses actually are."

frequently asked questions

Will this work for my skin type?

Yes - the formula is gentle enough for regular use but still does the job, thanks to the 10% shea butter that keeps the exfoliating acids in check. Whatever your skin type, start with 2-3 times a week and build up gradually depending on how your skin takes to it. If your skin is very sensitive or reactive, always patch test first.

How long does one stick last?

With regular use (a few times a week on target areas like arms, legs or underarms), one stick usually lasts 2-3 months. Using it daily over larger areas will get through it a bit quicker - but most people find it still sees them well into a second month, even with frequent use.

Can I use this with the rest of my skincare routine?

Generally yes, though we'd avoid layering it with other strong actives (retinoids or other acid treatments) on the same area at the same time, so you don't over-exfoliate. Using other actives elsewhere on your body is absolutely fine - just give your skin time to adjust when you introduce the stick, and always follow with a moisturiser.

Is it safe on delicate areas like underarms and the bikini line?

Yes, when used as directed. On these areas, start with once a day and leave it 10-15 minutes before you put deodorant on. If you've just shaved or waxed, wait at least 8 hours before applying. And as always, patch test first if it's your first time using it on a sensitive area.

What if I don't see any results?

Most people see a visible difference within the first 1-4 weeks, depending on the concern (some areas, like dry heels, can improve in as little as 3 days, while discolouration takes closer to 4 weeks). If you've used it as directed for up to 60 days and you're not seeing the results you hoped for, you're covered by our money-back guarantee - just get in touch and we'll sort you a full refund.
